Life can bring unexpected challenges that affect one’s sense of self, relationships, family dynamics, education, and career. These challenges can leave you feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, and uncertain about your next steps. You might find yourself stuck in self-doubt, overthinking decisions, or struggling with a relentless inner critic. In the midst of it all, reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re used to carrying everything on your own.

I offer a gentle and compassionate space where you can begin to make sense of what you’re going through and feel less alone in the process. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, interpersonal challenges, and difficulties setting boundaries. My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and deeply empathetic. My hope is that in working together, you will cultivate a stronger sense of self, build more meaningful connections, and feel more confident navigating life’s stressors. In a space rooted in compassion and collaboration, we will explore new ways of responding to challenges and help you reconnect with what matters most to you. I’m here to support you in moving toward a life that feels grounded, purposeful, and aligned with your values.

Kyla has always had a special passion for working with children and has supported them in various capacities over the years. One of her most rewarding experiences involved designing and facilitating a dance movement therapy program for children aged 5 to 12. The program blended creative expression with therapeutic tools to help address challenges like anxiety, bullying, communication difficulties, and feelings of loneliness. In addition to her work with children, Kyla has volunteered with local community centers, mental health charities, and post-secondary support groups. Through this work, she has gained valuable experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, interpersonal difficulties, and school challenges. Most recently, Kyla completed her first practicum at the Mood Disorders Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, where she co-facilitated emotion regulation therapy groups for those with depressive disorders. These diverse experiences have strengthened her understanding of the unique challenges people face at different stages of life and reinforced her commitment to creating a supportive space for all clients.

Experience: Sadhna holds a Master of Social Work, specializing in Mental Health and Health from the University of Toronto. She is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), and British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW). With over 7 years of experience working within the mental health field, she has had the opportunity to engage in grassroots work, both within her community and internationally. This includes working at health clinics, hospitals, facilitating community group therapy work, while providing culturally competent and culturally sensitive care. This work has led her to develop a special interest in working in women’s health, specifically working with women who have experienced sexual trauma and gender-based violence.

Quote: We are all walking each other home.”- Ram Das

This is one of my favourite quotes and I think speaks beautifully to what I have learned doing this work. Human beings all experience so much pain, suffering, hardship, and adversity, yet also, are able to experience deep love, passion, hope and strength, sometimes even experiencing both oppositions at the same time, simultaneously. This work continues to reinforce how resilient humans are, despite each and every one of us experiencing adversity and it is incredibly admirable.

Life’s path is not always straightforward and navigating it can be overwhelming. Sometimes the way we relate to our thoughts, parts of ourselves, others, or our pasts can lead us to feeling stuck in life, out of control, and acting in ways that remove us from the connections and activities that give our lives meaning.

Brandon uses different approaches, or an integration of them, to best accommodate your needs and therapeutic goals: exploring your past experiences, relationships with others and yourself, and building skills which will aid you in healing and achieving your goals.

Brandon strives to create a compassionate and psychologically safe environment, one free of judgement, where you can develop your ability to self-regulate and become your own therapist.

Life can be complex and unpredictable, and in our busy world, it can be difficult to find time to slow down and process our experiences. Sometimes, we just want a place where we can tell our story and feel seen, heard, and understood. Regardless of your reason for seeking counselling, I welcome you here.

I offer therapy that is both person-centered and emotion-focused. I use various therapeutic modalities, such as AEDP, DBT, and IFS, and focus on integrating an attachment lens and parts work throughout my sessions.

I care about providing an inclusive, safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing your journey with me. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and it would be my deepest privilege to walk alongside you while we work together to overcome obstacles and navigate where you would like to go next.

Experience: Carissa is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a Trinity Western University graduate with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Over the past three years, she has worked at various community agencies assessing and supporting clients with depression, anxiety, trauma experiences, chronic pain, identity, academic concerns, and relationship concerns.

More personally, I care about engaging in self-reflection and am passionate about cultivating deep and intimate relationships. My drive and motivation comes from my family and friends, I enjoy rock climbing, playing board games, and reading fiction novels, and am happiest when I’m sharing a meal with a loved one.

Carissa is providing in-person sessions to clients.

Therapy is a transformative journey, but it can come with challenges. Finding a therapist whose approach and communication style aligns with your needs take times. Sharing personal experiences and embracing vulnerability can feel intimidating. Stigma, self-doubt, and the slow nature of progress may also add to the difficulty. However, with consistency and commitment, therapy can foster true personal growth and resilience.

I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to a successful treatment experience. Using a collaborative, client-centred approach, I focus on tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs, values, strengths, and goals. From there, we can explore various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and identify what resonate most to you and supports your healing journey.

My passion lies in supporting individuals by creating a safe and empowering environment for self-exploration. I want to help clients recognize their strengths, develop skills to overcome challenges, stay committed to their goals, and build resilience to apply what they’ve learned in everyday life.

Sometimes we can feel stuck in patterns which feel beyond our control. We react and feel discouraged by circumstances we repeatedly find ourselves in and it seems there is nothing that works, nothing gets better, no one understands.

I utilize a trauma-informed, long-term perspective using methodologies such as Schema therapy to uncover the root causes that perpetuate damaging patterns. Sessions look at embracing challenges as opportunities for learning while understanding the factors that have contributed to our behavior, challenging unhelpful beliefs, and committing to change.

Sessions are a space for reflection and learning, of reconciling the past with the present and choosing directions that work for you, the client.

We all face our own challenges. Whether it’s stress, overwhelm, anxiety, depression. Sometimes we feel like no one could ever understand what we are going through. Life can feel so heavy, and sometimes we just need a little extra support. That’s why my priority is to focus on the building a genuine, trusting, non-judgmental relationship where you can feel understood and supported. This relationship is the foundation for change and growth in therapy with my clients.

You don’t have to figure it out on your own. Together we can explore what’s been weighing on you, and what it might look like to move forward. I use evidence-based, holistic approaches to tailor our sessions to best fit your needs. Not only to help you get “back to normal,” but to help you excel.

I believe that meaningful changes come from feeling both challenged and supported. I help clients recognize their strengths and develop new skills to overcome life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. Establishing a safe environment and setting goals is only the beginning of the therapeutic process. My hope is that my clients walk away from therapy feeling resilient to the struggles that once held them back.
